Let's take writing practice from its usual place - at our desks and kitchen tables - out into the world. Each week, we'll meet at Drake Park to ground our work for the morning, then stroll to a location in downtown Bend to write.
Writing is a visual art. The ability to “paint” the details of a scene with words can often make or break whether we hold our reader's attention. Spend four weeks building this particular writing muscle in places around town. You can then apply the skill to any writing project you’re working on - poem, memoir, or novel. All writing levels welcome.
