Sarah Sennott Cyr has a background as a journalist, with dozens of articles published in Newsweek, The Boston Globe, Cosmopolitan, and ARTNews. Sarah began a daily writing practice in 2014 after reading Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones. The breakthrough she experienced from this style of writing led her to teach it, first in Oregon, and then further afield. In 2019, Sarah completed a year-long writing intensive at the Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe taught by Natalie Goldberg and Robert Wilder.
